DARA DBA

The DBA forum has several questions, but unfortunately it is not receiving many answers ...: Shock:

I would like to ask the DBA ' Forums forever to take a look at the unanswered topics! And so, make this forum be good too!

(I eat I'm not a dba I can not help much, but you can !!!)

Thanks to everyone who respond! :-O

Really, there are many questions and few answers in the forum.
I often do not get answers to the forum.
What can we do?

We need a DBA willingly to give a personal strength.
In fact, I'm playing this role for the forums of Forms and Reports. (Of course, with the help of all others who also give a force there).

Of course, that contribute a forum requires time, and that, we do not always have. But we can always read the doubts of people and at least try to help :-)

The busiest forums were also stopped at the beginning, but gradually they were moved because he always had news there. Maybe this is what is missing in the DBA forum ... more movement, hehehe

is the challenge!

I would very much like to help!
Despite being at six months only working with Oracle as a DBA (I'm perfecting myself), I think I can help in the basic questions.

How do I make the site notify me when a new question in the DBA forum?

In my service I can not sail and monitor the questions by browser. Maybe for RSS, so when there are a new questions I will try to respond.

beleza Gilbertoca

Currently, RSS is the only way to know if messages arrived. We already thought of sending an email to some kind of "group", type Yahoogroups.

Hence, anyone who wants to receive messages as if they were an email group, would receive a good, just sign up for the group. But this idea has not yet been put into practice, maybe never be ...:?

But for now, only RSS: http://feeds.feedburner.com/glufkeoracle

OK! But do I need to write to the whole forum? Is not there an RSS, for example, for the DBA category?
If you do not have this option, anyway I'vê already written myself in this RSS.

Thanks.

I think besides encouraging who knows how to answer the doubts of our friends here in the forum, I believe it would be very interesting to inform some links where they can seek their doubts, such as in the OTN forum, which is free, in http://tahiti.oracle.com, http://asktom.oracle.com.
in the same way that we already know a little more about Oracle, one day we had to navigate these sites, the younger ones must also do so.

In some cases, I navigate and look for the answers, many of whom do not know the answer, and I end up learning a little more.

So I leave my contribution to the forum, so that the new ones also smite their doubts for the sites, instead of simply posting doubts and wait for someone to respond.

Dr_Gori,

But I have noticed that many users first ask after seeking.

Unfortunately, that's right that happens :-(
and look at that the whole forum is on Google. If the user does not want to look for the forum "Search" link, you can search on Google even!

Includes 2 questions (doubts) in the DBA forum and observed that none was answered. I would like to know the reason, since all the other questions made by other associates after mine were fully answered by the DBA's on duty ??

grateful for attention

Grateful for the attention

is ... Unfortunately not all questions are answered, because the forum is a place of collaboration. Not always people here have the time available to give greater attention or investigate the problem. (Sometimes it's a new problem that few knows the answer)

I'll start doing a DBA course now in September to take the certifications, the stab is going to be big, but it's necessary.
Then I'll be able to start helping.

SRS,

I am here to contribute to the forum. I am not a Certificate DBA even due to lack of study time, I have 5 years of expenience but I did some courses that can help in the responses of the forum.

1) OR10 - Introduction to Oracle
2) PO10 - Dev. Objects using PL / SQL and procedure Builder
3) AD10A - Oracle 10g database administration - Part A
4) AD10B - Oracle 10g database administration - Part B
5) PT10 - Oracle 10G Tuning Performance
6) Mod - Data Modeling and Methodology Case
7) AT10 - Optimizing applications and objects in Oracle 10G
8) Tunning in database I (Inmetrics)
9) Tunning course in database II (Inmetrics)

Whenever possible I will be answering the questions from users here in the forum .
