Good personal, how are you?
by kindness, I have a problem ..
I need to migrate a base from SQL Server 2005 to Oracle 10G.
I'm trying to run the process through Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.5.
1 - First, in the "Tools" / Preferences "option, I click on" Third Party JDBC Drivers ", where you ask the path to add the driver.
.. Then, I add the SQL 2005 JDBC driver (SQLJDBC.jar) and click "OK", following exactly the steps of the dacionation.
2 - After adding the driver, I must create a new connection For the basis to be migrated, however, when accessing the "Connections" and create a new connection option, the connection option for SQL 2005 does not appear, other than the documentation.
Following exactly what documentation says, I even looked at a video that shows exactly how to do and I'm doing the same way ..
Can anyone tell me where I can be missing?
Thank you.
Hugs.

Migrate SQL Server Base for Oracle
Buenas Personal !!!
Continuing the saga "I'll be able to access a SQL Server 2005 bank by Oracle SQL Developer 1.5" .. I had the following problem:
I was able to create the Connection option for SQL Server on Oracle SQL Developer through your JDBC driver according to my last post here in this topic. However, I could not establish the connection with SQL Server ...
I tested 218 thousand ways (approximately)
on the host I used IP, HostName, Localhost, HostName / Nomedobanco ..
The standard TCP port, 1433 ..
User and password are correct, is a test bank, USR "SA" password "sa" ..
.. but there was no saint who did the SQL Developer connect to the damn SQL Server 2005.
The connection information was correct because they are the same as using to connect through a client application. / server I have installed.
All installed on the same machine with Windows Server 2003 SP2 and and Windows Firewall disabled.
I started checking the SQL Server Configuration Manager connection information and found the dynamic TCP port 1061.
I used this door and it worked !!!!
Then we note:
Connection name: Anything, only one identification.
USR: User for connection to the SQL Server 2005 bank
PSW: Password
Host name: IP, HostName or "Localhost"
Door: 1061 [99]
