I remember that some time ago had been released a version of Oracle 10g for Mac OS, today is no longer available for download, does anyone know if there is any version that I can install on Mac?

Hello SOULDEATH,
I also remember that there was a 10G version for Mac.
I consulted the certification matrix in Metalink and I came across the data below:
I believe that Oracle has not released more 11G versions for Mac . However, you can install Oracle Virtual Box for Mac and create a Linux virtual machine to behave the Oracle database.
to download VirtualBox, see: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads A YouTube presentation on VB installation on Mac can be seen in: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SVWRAIQt18 Hugs,

Stcoutinho, from what I saw version 10 was just for the Server version, so it would not help much.
My situation is as follows, I am developing a system in Java that makes connection with Oracle, I had started this development in Windows environment but I migrated to the Mac, I think the way will be to use a virtual machine .
Thanks for the help!

SOULDEATH, good evening,
Java programs Do not use JDBC drivers?
From what I know the Thin drivers does not depend on platform.
The problem is that the database server will need to be run on a supported platform.

Personnel,
I found some interesting links from people who installed Oracle 10G and SQL Developer on the Mac OS platform. It seems to me to be able to install these Apple desktops programs:
