Hello friends, I was wondering if someone knows how to do to run a program made in plsql in Internet Explorer.
I am running something like:, but nothing happens; the browser says it is accessing, but is eternally and shows nothing.
What is the detail that lack?
If anyone has the answer, I'd appreciate it.

Well, I think we're going on a confusion there ...
The port is the default port of 1521 ORACLE to make a connection with the Bank.

To run a procedure in your browser is the Apache that will make the middle ground. Normally, on port 7777.

Will open a screen + or-so: Then you click on Mod_plsql Configuration Menu, and then click Gateway Database Access Descriptor Settings to configure the password, the default object, etc ...

Remember that your procedure show something, you should use the htp p ...
Code: Select all
htp.p('<body> bla bla bla </body><br>');

Hi friend, thanks for answering my question.
Hadn't really touched me about the Apache http server can provide.
But I'm still at zero.
In that example you gave me, where was that accesses that configuration option?
I downloaded and installed the \"apache_ 2.0.55-win32-x 86-in _ ssl\".
On my machine (win98 se) is installed the oracle with the bd, the listener, all right. Apache também is loading.
But I still don't know how to make Apache \"convsersar\" with oracle, nor how to make run the pl/sql command in the browser.
The only option in apache is about a httpd.conf file that has multiple options that I don't quite know where to move?
Where I'm still missing?
