The Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo will use Oracle Exadata Database Machine to run the management software of the MV nas systems 39 units, in a migration process that began in September 2013 and should extend for another four years.
The implementation process, conducted by the Sphere involved at first the Hospital Santa Isabel, which provides private health services, and the three emergency rooms, that make up the SOS Emergency program of the Health Ministry and have its inpatient and clinical controls linked to governmental systems.
Currently, we are rendered in Oracle Exadata all data management system MV and also payroll tool of these units, which include almost two thousand employees.
Same processing large volumes of data, only 10% of the capacity of the equipment is being used.
Oracle's solution was acquired in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) to compose the private cloud of Santa Casa de Misericórdia de São Paulo, physically installed in the datacenter of the health institution.
The Irmandade Santa Casa de Misericordia de São Paulo has six hospitals, six ERS only in Central Hospital, an outpatient clinic of medical specialties, two EMT units (Psus) and a polyclinic.
The institution also has 12 basic health units distributed in the region of Jaçanã and Tremembé, among other equipment administered by Social Health Organizations (OSS) State and municipal.
Are 18 thousand employees serving 3.5 million patients per year.
