Curiosity Facebook friends, blame me: I found a script called SUICIDE.SQL with the following code:
Code: Select all
set pages 44
column username format a11
column machine format a11
select *
from sys.suicide;
set heading off
select 'To Kill One of Your Sessions Select the above Sid and Serial #',
'Enter the Following Command for this Selected Sid and Serial #',
'ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION ''' ||sid||','||serial#||''';'
from sys.suicide;
set heading on
has anyone seen this table?
I'm using oracle 8i without grant of DBA so I couldn't see if there is this table here. Someone who uses 9i or 10 g has seen this table before?

Dr_Gori, this table does not exist in oracle, never had knowledge of it, but from what I saw of the script should be dealing with a view that already has the information it needs and then he makes only the select this view that is inside of the SYS.

Hello Diego that must be it ... Probably, this view must be the SID and SERIAL session itself only.
