Value in hexadecimal

Hello guys, I couldn't find a function to return the Hexadecimal value of a number or a string in Oracle 8.0.5 does anyone know?!?!

aí guy, tries to use to_char, but in the second parameter you indicate with an ' x ' (which indicates a hexadecimal) number of digits ... would be like this: select to_char (' 10 ', ' xx ') from dual I hope I helped ...

dude I tried: ORA-01481: invalid number format template this version 8.0.5 I don't think supports this formatting ... anyway thanks for listening!

Not if that helps, but IF your application is in FORMS, there is a command of the Forms that does so using the d2kwutil library.

var_numerica := Win_API_Bitop.HexString_To_Number('12A');
the variable receives the number 298.
