How do I give an insert of time in oracle? I want you to disregard the date ... only hour and minute second I..

my field is date.. I wanted to give the insert only the time but from what to noting there's no way ...

I keep asking myself the porque to insert only the time in a date field ... but it's none of my business and not even ...

I tried to change the type of your field to timestamp?

because you cannot use the varchar to store all the time?
