I wonder if someone has already installed Oracle Xe in Windows Vista, since there is no recommendation to do this?

Yes, did it have to do some different procedure for such installation?

grateful

Yes, I installed the XE and works straight.
is only to install and run ...

The only strange thing is that I could not activate and deactivate the Services with Net Start service - on command line.

In real, I ended up uninstalling Oracle Xe, because I ended up needing 10G Enterprise Edition. (soooo heavier, but it was necessary for what I was doing).

But I remember, since it did not work via command line (it gave some permission error of Windows Vista, I think). Then I went to the services and disabled it in the little button.

Dude, when installing the XE in the right-clicking view on the installer and enters compatibility and places compatible with XP.
It works normal.
