Good morning,
I have a form and I would like to have a button on this form that opened me a folder from my computer.
The button I have the following code
I do not want to upload files to the application.
I just want to create a link that opens me the location of the files.
Example:
The user places some photos in the folder c:\fotos\lazer
in the Apex application has a text field where the user places the photos address c:\fotos\lazer
and I want to create a button, which open me another window and in this window show me the location content c:\fotos\lazer
This directory "C: \ Photos \ Leisure" is on the bank server where Apex is installed or on your workstation?
I do not think you can do this type of operation via application (because there is the security factor), but perhaps the other Glufke forists can give some suggestion.
The directory I want to access is a shared disk.
If I put in the Internet Explorer Address Bar file:///c:\fotos\lazer I can open the
folder in Apex, to create the link, I have to put the "http://" location From the folder and the address is so http://file:///c:\fotos\lazer only the problem is that I clicking the address the address is changed to http://file///c:\fotos\lazer the two points below to the "file" disappear.
Well personal, for what I'vê been seeing, this has to do with security policies, the way I managed to find was to install a plugin for IE and another for Chrome.
In any case thanks for the help made available by the Forum staff.
For the forum-sharing effect, it would be possible to explain in more detail the solution found (eg plugins)? It would be more for the case of another forista to come across the same problem as you.
