Open a csv file by calling the Excel

Opa. Guys I have a prob. I'm developing for oracle ebs environment.
I need that when press on a button he generates a csv file and then open this file by excel.
Anyone know if you like?
I'm currently generating it and the user has to open using a FTP and after opening by clicking on the file.

Are you generating the file with UTL_FILE? Then it generates the file on the server.
If you generate on the machine itself, have to use TEXT_IO.

See this link: viewtopic.php?t=830 To open, I guess it's the same thing: If you're a Forms 6i client server, you must use the D2KWUTIL to run the excel executable passing the.CSV as parameter. (maybe HOST function)

Already for WEB, it has to be via WEBUTIL.

Oops used the TEXT_IO however what happened ... to test created a basic forms with just one button.
I generate the file. by clicking this button. He generated without problems ...
I have sinned even code and put it in. .. There he ... not generates ... generates only when I play on my machine.
Does anyone have any idea???

Oops I got here. I used the FND_FILE.PUT () it generates the output file in the ebs that the user can save as csv and open with excel:-)
