Always do a search before adding a new topic. It is very likely that someone has ever had the same doubt as you.

Why is it better to respond to an existing topic than creating a new?

* When you continue a topic Existing, all participants from that topic receive an email informing someone else sent a message. With this, you are "calling" the people there to read your question or answer. That is, people who have had the same doubt that you have more chance to respond.
