Hello, I'm trying to use Forms 10g, which according to Oracle is inside the Oracle Development Suite. Download and unzipped the files ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1.zip and ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2.zip, but how much I try to run Setup.exe after checking system requirements I get the error that Windows has identified an error. As if you have violated the Windows memory.
Can anyone help me?

XP Professional SP1, is a common Windows error. Pop it is not a system requirement, appreciate a Windows window saying that "Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be closed." With debugging options, send reports. Similar when it gives memory violation. Do not even open Oracle's Intalation Software.

Go to Control Panel, open the "Add or Remove Programs" and verify that you have Windows Live Installer and Windows Live Toolbar installed.

Uninstall them

Cicero, good morning.

I checked these two items, and none is installed on the machine.

Do you have anything to see?

Thanks to all

I know the post is old ... but only to record a solution I found in an American forum.

It seems that the problem occurs when there are spaces at the directory address where the installation files are.

is thus create:

C: \ Oracle_Forms
Inside Play the two unzipped and renamed folders for CD1 and CD2.

I hope it still help someone.

Att.
