Good morning.
My doubt is the following and with it I want to be objective and succinct:
I have a "new" expression installed
I want to get a dump .dmp ( Dump-13-01-2009.dmp) The size of 250MB of another installation
Li on various sites, forums, and Oracle XE books on import and syntax
has no error.
Imp User / Password File = path \ filename.dmp Full = Yes
But this error appears:
Export file: Export: v10.02.01 Conventional path
Important in the character sets We8MSWIN1252 and NCHAR AL16UTF16
The import server uses the AL32UTF8 character set (Charset Conversion Possý)
The export customer uses the set Character US7ASCII (Charset Conversion Possible)
. Importing System objects to System
. Importing SCAP objects for SCAP
IMP-00003: Oracle error: 1435 Found
ORA-01435: User there is
I ask:
What am I doing wrong?
I must think that not an import of Sybase that we have to create the Datafile, put size and relate to the bank, for it for only then to put that import to rotate?
On the import procedure in the oracle

Quando you use the IMP, you must have all the schemas (users) already created on the "new" base too, besides having also the tablespaces, if they are not in the Users, System, etc.
Otherwise it will give error in the creation of the tables, but at the moment your error is lack of the CREATE USER NNNNN IDENTIFIED by PPPPP;
After creating the user runs the import again. ,.

I did the creation of the user with privileges, but some details:
> Sincerely as I am doing for testing, I honestly do not know how to check the details you asked me to do before .
> The issue of the user was created but continues to showing the same difficulty, somewhat I do not know another so much because this basis that I want to do I import really do not know your content.
IMP Marco / Password File = C: \ Dump-13-01-2009.dmp FULL = YES
And even then, it shows the previous error, whereby I reported to My difficulty.
would be asking a step by step again to never ask?

Dude, everything I write here will not be so didatico as a read in:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B193 ... xp_imp.htm
There is everything there,: D
Maybe the parameters Fromuser and Touser help you import Schema by Schema until you identify which schema is generating error.
How are you doing using FULL = Y, I recommend using System for that import.
Use the Show = Y parameter to discover the schemas that have inside your dump.

Bhá man, thank you very much.
It's incredible that when I did the course, and now I'm starting to study deeper to be able to do the so dreamed hollow this year or next year, these things are not spoken in the course knows.
is nothing like day to day, initiative and forums well centered on the difficulty that does not help us in day to day life.
Thanks Even by the tip, I confess that it was breaking his head for never having done an import.
Grateful!

Good is the tip then, export is obsolete,
the bid now is Oracle DataPump, EXPDP, IMPDP, much faster and more flexible,
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B193 ... erview.htm 99] Take a look there ...

Tchê, excuse is beaning for the same thing but I really could not.
What documentation says:
The Syntax for Data Pump Import Parameter Mode is:
C: \ .log
The Syntax for Data Pump Import Interactive Mode is:
C: \> IPDP System / Password
I will only do as follows:
I will find out of the subject, get more information and only after this I will return to write in the forum, because simply a "step" easy, I'm breaking your head ..
But thank you anyway.

You have to generate the export (dump) with the EXPDP to use the impdp,
is missing a parameter there in the eu code, exddp dump_dir =
