Good morning, I'm new to Oracle and I would like your help.
I have a bench running version 11g in production. I want to backup this database, but I'm afraid and first came here to ask your opinion! Are there any risk in using EXPDP? Like, I'm going to make a backup there and out of nowhere comes an error ... I licked everything because I'm still learning!
Another thing is, if I will use the EXPDP I need to stop the bank to back up?
Sorry for Newbisse! : Cry:
Risks Oracle 11G backup exists?

Brother, as you are doing a logical backup via DataPump and it will also be an export I do not see risks in this task and another the bank will be online, you do not need to stop the bank.
Adrianoturbo, thank you for the collaboration!adrianoturbo wrote: brother, as you are doing a logical backup via datapump and it will also be an export I do not see risks in this task and another the bank will be online, you do not need to stop the bank.
So, I backed up and the following happened: My version of the bank in production is: 11.2.0.3.0 And what I'm trying to do the restoration is: 11.2.0.1.0.
Then I had an error:
ORA-39001: invalid argument value
ORA-39000: bad dump file specification
ORA-31619: invalid dump file
When datapump tried to put Version = 11.2.0.1.0 and nothing.
As I get this file from inside the server via FTP I also saw some saying that I had to give a binary when picking up the server file via FTP.
Well, nothing worked until now, if anyone has any suggestions I thank you!

Brother, did you create the directory inside the DataPump folder?
Do the following: Do not place the version when I do the import via DataPump, run the command below that will work out.
