Good morning, I need to do a procedure that reads a directory and fetch the last recorded day. txt file file name has the format XXXYYYYMMDDHHMISS. Can anyone give me any tips?

Well ... There must be a better way than this that I'm going to suggest: this link has a routine that executes SHELL commands/of the server. (it's a procedure in java): viewtopic.php?p=1030 with her, you can give a

DIR xxx* /O-D /a-d /b >ARQ.TXT
then you just read that ARQ.TXT with UTL_FILE and grab the first line. (this will be the last generated)

As I said: there must be a better way.
