Someone knows how to tell me if there is a way to make an export (DMP) in an Oracle 10g bank and do the import in an earlier version (9i)?

Yes,
You have to copy the exp version 9i on the 10G bank server.
Then use this 9i of the EXP!

Ready! At Bank 9i, just do the Normal Imp. :-O

Dr. Gori, I'll try what you gave me.

Alexander, the problem is that I have a client that he has 2 Oracle servers in different garages one with Oracle 10g and another with Oracle9i, and I needed to take the bank that is installed in 10g for The machine that has 9i. When I do the export in 10g and try to do the import on 9i it tells me that the export version is superior to what I am doing import.
This is my problem. I will try to do what Drgori told me that it is to take the executable of the EXP (version 9i) to the 10G bank and make the 10G EXP with the version of 9i.
xiiiiii, I spoke so much from 10g and 9i that I hope I have not shuffled everything.

Thanks for the attention.

Just make an import using the Oracle 9i Imp, for this you will need to connect to Bank 10G using the Oracle 9i garage server:

1- On the Oracle 9i server, you add The parameter in tnsnames.ora to connect to Oracle 10G. Verify that the connection works by connecting as SYSTEM to BANK 10G.

2- On the Oracle 9i server, run the Export:
Example:

Select all

oracle9i@servidor$ exp system/senha@oracle10g file=export.dmp log=export.log statistics=none full=y
3- On the Oracle server 9i, Run IMPORT:
Example:

Select all

oracle9i@servidor$ imp system/senha@oracle9i file=export.dmp log=import.log full=y grants=y ignore=y
Using these steps can do without problems here.

Do not forget that if the Datafile paths is not the same, you will need to create the tablespaces at Bank 9i, with the same names as the tablespaces of Bank 10G.

Att,

Diego Leite
DBA ORACLE

Friend,

for the love of God does not make the f full of the dump of the base in the 10g version, remembering that the dictionary of data is not mesmo and with the IMP full you will screw your base 9i , what you need is simply tidying up a 9i client and exporting this 10G database, more in any way use the Full.Ipport Owner to Owner.

I hope it is not late D +. = /

Precisely.
Thanks Diego Leite, I did not listen to that Export and Import was with FULL = Y, I ended up writing on the automatic.

But as Diego Leite spoke make the Export of each Owner, which will work!
