From Oca 9i to OCP 10G: Is this possible?

Does anyone know if it is possible to take a hollow Certification DBA 9i or OCA PL / SQL Developer and then take OCP 10G certification?

That is, being a hollow 9i I can take OCP 10G? Or I need to take OCP 10g also take hollow 10g ....

I am responding to this old topic still open, in case other forists come across the same doubt as you.

I consulted for this oracle OTN forum, especially in this link: https://community.oracle.com/message/4166717

In short, only a hollow 9i certification would not allow you to do the " 9i upgrade certification exam for 10G ". This type of examination is indicated only for OCP 9i professionals.

As I understand that in "January 2014" there are no more options for 9i certification, you will need to do the "admin i" and "admin II" exams to get your 10G OCA certifications OCP 10G. The only examination you do not need to do again in this 10G certification path would be the "SQL fundamental" because the 1Z0-007 exam that you made for the OCA 9i already serves for the holly 10g, 11g and 12c.

Correction:

Referring the link that I passed on the previous answer, it seems to me that there are some exceptions that allow a OCA 9i to undergo exams to get the OCP.
