Hello guys! All right??
The client does not want to work with CEB CAP.

Instead, he wants to consider only the "average", defined in parameters when creating the inventory organization.

Question: Is it possible to transfer stock accounting for GL without configuring the PAC ??

Yes, the INV in the American process generates accounting and can be transferred to General Ledger. If problems. You have to leave the inverted managers to update the accounting, it is fundamental. Check the organization setup and see the cost-level parameters.

In R12 this process is possible. Run Concurrent Create Accounting - Cost Management, and in this Concurrent Put Yes in the Transfer to General Ledger option.

The CAP is mandatory for industrial companies, as these are required to absorb indirect production expenses to form final manufacturing cost.
These expenses are usually known at the end of the month; Therefore, manufacturing industries use pac to compose final cost of manufactured items.
for non-industrial companies that only buy and sell goods, can choose not to use PAC, but need to generate book 7 - Inventory record.

Complementing the add-in just a little. In productive activities (mounting or transformation industries, respectively ODM and OPM, discrete and process) is required for discreet (with its said location) and the OPM Financials at the set cost in the PMAC (weighted periodic medium). In Brazil, I believe it is law. You have to use where the customer is factory.
If the company only buys and sells, then you do not need to use the cost types of manufactures. But it has to generate such a book 7.

When it is a discrete manufacturing company, we use the PAC, but it is also possible to work with Average or standard cost by the INV / COS (without sending to GL preferably), but when we work with process manufacture (OPM), until the version 12.0.6, I have to work with the PMAC, because when registering the Organization in the INV, it is not allowed to cost to average in the organization.

You comment that: " It is possible to work with cost average or default by the inv / cost (without sending to the GL of preference) [/ u]".

Question: Is there any tax impediment to send to GL to accounting the Average Cost from the INV / COST ??
