Hello Guerton

Well ... Let me understand better:
* You have changed a user's password. OK
* When you try to log in, give a mistake.

Doubts:
* Can you connect to SQL * Plus with this user?
* Do you want to log in to Forms Builder? (Or are you talking about the designer?)
* What exactly is the error code?

If possible, send us more information about the version of Oracle, Forms, Windows, etc ... It is difficult to know what is happening there ... But I tell you one thing: change The password does not require to install the tool again ... this can guarantee you !!

ORA-12545 Connect Failed Because Target Host or Object Does Not Exists

The bank version is 9i Personal, Forms Builder 6i Version 6.0 .8.13.0
Windows 2000 ...

Thanks ...

Check the regedit there in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / ORACLE
Look for a key called TNS_ADMIN

This key must have the path where TNSNAMES.ORA

If you have more than an Oracle_Home, create this key in all homes that you have. (HOME0, HOME1, etc.)

Maybe this is ...
