Oracle ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

or the server stopped responding by network problems or unavailability, the session with the database was finalized (kill) by the administrator, anyway, etc etc etc. I would like to know if triggers being fired constantly under line-volume tables more than 17 million can cause a time-out of access to the object and consequently present this error. Has anyone ever been through a similar problem or could you guide me in this sense? Oracle version: 9.2.
