I'm trying to install Oracle 10G (10.1.0.3) in SUSE9,
I'm having problems when arrow the display variable.
If I settle it in the .profile or the .bashrc of the Oracle user, I can no longer connect to the graphics tool as an Oracle user.
Did anyone have any suggestions?
Set variable Display

I know this post is very old, but this problem is common when remote installation.

Hello,
If you put on the .Profile, whenever you connect with the Oracle User your "screen" will be sent to another machine.
I recommend set this variable in session when necessary.
Ex.: Export Display = 192.168.0.197: 0.0
To test Type: XCLock
